This rug is woven from high-quality, phthalate-free PVC ribbon produced in Sweden and approved by REACH®. Free from harmful substances, the material is safe for use in food and toy production within the EU and USA.

PVC is exceptionally durable, colorfast, and easy to care for. It withstands daily wear, sunlight, and moisture without losing its shape or color, making it the perfect choice for both indoor and outdoor spaces. This strong yet flexible material gives each Pappelina rug its signature combination of function, beauty, and lasting quality.

Warp: Polyester
The warp is made from high-quality polyester, selected for its strength, stability, and flexibility. This durable material provides structure to the weave and helps the rug retain its shape over time. Resistant to moisture and stretching, polyester ensures lasting form and function.
Care Instructions
  • Vacuum regularly.
  • Gently remove stains with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Do not scrub.
  • Hand wash or machine wash cold in a front-loading washing machine, max 30 °C (85 °F).
  • Use an appropriately sized washing machine. As a guideline, a 70 × 250 cm rug is the maximum size for a 6 kg washing machine.
  • Do not use the spin cycle.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Evenly stretch edges whilst wet.
  • If the rug has welded edges, avoid folding them as they may crack.
  • Hang to dry over a wide bar or several lines.
