POPPY is defined by a repeating pattern inspired by the rounded form of the poppy seed capsule, creating a clear and graphic expression with a natural reference. The rug is made from BIOVYN, a carbon neutral, bio sourced material originating from pine oil. POPPY is reversible, with mirrored colors on the reverse, offering two balanced expressions of the same pattern. Finished with welded edges and tightly woven for durability, the rug is designed for everyday use.

92% Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
This rug is woven from high-quality, phthalate-free PVC ribbon produced in Sweden and approved by REACH®. Free from harmful substances, the material is safe for use in food and toy production within the EU and USA.

PVC is exceptionally durable, colorfast, and easy to care for. It withstands daily wear, sunlight, and moisture without losing its shape or color, making it the perfect choice for both indoor and outdoor spaces. This strong yet flexible material gives each Pappelina rug its signature combination of function, beauty, and lasting quality.

8% Polyester
The warp is made from high-quality polyester, selected for its strength, stability, and flexibility. This durable material provides structure to the weave and helps the rug retain its shape over time. Resistant to moisture and stretching, polyester ensures lasting form and function.
Care Instructions

To keep your rug looking its best, vacuum it regularly and rinse off spills immediately. Avoid rubbing stains, as this may damage the material. Never tumble dry and take care not to fold the welded edges, as they may be damaged. If the rug gets wet, stretch the edges evenly and always hang it to dry over a wide bar or several lines to avoid creasing.

For smaller rugs, with widths of 60 cm, 70 cm and 85 cm, you can wash them by hand or in a washing machine at a cold temperature, maximum 30°C/85°F. Do not use the spin cycle. As a rule of thumb, a rug up to 70 × 250 cm fits in a 6 kg washing machine.

For larger rugs, with widths of 140 cm, 180 cm and 230 cm, do not machine wash due to their size. Instead, clean them by vacuuming, mopping, hand washing in a bathtub or large vessel, or using professional dry cleaning. For stains, use a soft damp cloth or sponge and avoid rubbing.
