OUR CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABILITY
Being the original is to be the first in something. With a focus on developing the BIO EDITION, we now present our second pattern made of BIOVYN™. Our goal is to promote a circular economy by reducing, reusing, and recycling the world's resources. We are proud to presents the world´s first plastic rug made of BIOVYN™ - carbon neutral PVC made of
wood-based tall oil.
All our rugs are made at our local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. To the sound of wooden shuttles rushing back and forth - a well-coordinated interplay between loom, warp and weft - create the pattern of choice.
Each rug we make represents a piece of Swedish craftsmanship and thanks to great composition, high quality materials and devoted craftsmen and -women, we bring you the durable, contemporary and colourful design that is Pappelina.
